EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

With over 14 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Security Risk Management, and Compliance, I bring a comprehensive and results-driven approach to workforce management, organisational security, and strategic HR solutions.

I hold a National Diploma in Human Resources Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, a Wine Certificate, and a Security Certificate Level E.D.C.E., reflecting my multidisciplinary expertise. My extensive HR background spans Talent Acquisition & Management, HR Compliance, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Workplace Wellness, and Compensation & Benefits, with a strong focus on South African labour laws and HR regulatory frameworks.

I have successfully led organisational restructuring, workforce planning, and large-scale recruitment initiatives, ensuring compliance with South African employment regulations and broader Sub-Saharan labour laws. My experience covers industries such as Education, Public Health, Construction, Engineering, Financial Services, IT & Communication, Consultancy & Advisory, and Legal Services, where I develop and implement HR policies, dispute resolution strategies, and compliance audits.

My global HR exposure includes working across EMEA and Sub-Saharan regions, specifically in South Africa, the UK, Dubai, Italy, Ireland, and other key Sub-Saharan markets. I leverage advanced HRIS and payroll systems such as Workday, ELMA, BambooHR, SageVIP, Sage300, ERS, and PeopleSoft to drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. Beyond HR, I specialise in Security Risk Assessments, Access Control Solutions, and Corporate Security Strategy, helping organisations identify vulnerabilities, strengthen security protocols, and promote workplace safety.

I am committed to fostering inclusive, legally compliant, and high-performing work environments while ensuring organisational resilience through proactive risk management, strategic HR planning, and effective security measures.

Bongani Nombamba

With a strong background in technology, systems design, and digital delivery, Bongani Nombamba serves as Partner and Head of Technology at Apricity HR and the Apricity Group. He leads the development and execution of the group’s technology strategy, ensuring that platforms, tools, and digital workflows effectively support HR service delivery, operational excellence, and business growth.

Bongani’s role spans the design, implementation, and optimisation of HR and business systems, including automation, integrations, reporting, and platform scalability. He works closely with leadership, consultants, and clients to translate operational and business requirements into practical, secure, and user-friendly technology solutions.

His experience blends technical execution with strategic thinking, enabling Apricity to deliver modern, data-driven HR solutions while maintaining reliability, compliance, and performance. He plays a key role in supporting product development, system customising, and the continuous improvement of internal and client-facing technology environments.
